Gates open at 12pm (noon) on Friday and 8am on Saturday. Campers can load in as early as 10:30am on Friday, but will have to wait to enter festival main area until 12pm.

MooshFest is a 2-day cosmic gathering centered around music, community, arts, teaching, and alien/human connection. Expect highly positive vibes, incredible music and an atmosphere of creativity and wonderment.

Absolutely! There will be a plethora of kid-related crafts and activities, yard games, and of course family-friendly performances. One adult ticket grants up to 2 kids, kids 13 and over must purchase a ticket.

Gates open at 11:45 on Friday, and 8am Saturday. Main event starts at 2pm Friday, while Saturday morning has yoga, sound healing, a talk on ESP, and more, and music starts at 12pm Saturday. Both nights there's a DJ Afterparty (dance with aliens in the Starlight Barn!) that goes late (finished before 2am). 2am through 9am are quiet hours for campers to recharge.

For the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, MooshFest allows re-entry until 6:00 PM each day. After 6:00 PM, anyone who exits the festival grounds will not be permitted to re-enter unless leaving is for an emergency. Please plan accordingly and make sure you have everything you need before returning in the evening. This policy helps us maintain a secure environment and ensures the best experience for everyone.

Yes. Costumes, cosmic cowboy looks, alien disguises, sparkles, fringe, weird hats, and general multiverse attire are highly encouraged.

MooshFest is a rain or shine event. If heavy weather rolls through, there are covered areas onsite where you can wait it out.

Yes, there is cell service at the venue (with hyper-connectivity if your carrier is Moosh Mobile).

No. Parking is free, and our team will direct you where to park when you arrive.

You can stay at Camp Moosh (our dedicated campsite area). You can check for availability at the Boulder Hot Springs, or, there are plenty of hotels and AirBnb options in Helena (30 miles) and Butte (38 miles). Hotel accommodations in Boulder are highly limited.

Camping is not included with a festival pass. Camping passes must be purchased separately through the ticketing platform.

One campsite accommodates up to 4 campers, 1 tent, and 1 vehicle. Campsites are approximately 10' × 30'. Additional campers must purchase their own campsite.

To help keep the campground safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for everyone: - Campsites are limited to 4 people maximum.
- Sleeping in your vehicle is permitted. Sprinter vans, camper vans, and truck topper campers are welcome as long as the vehicle and any associated camping setup fit entirely within the 10' × 30' campsite.
- No open flames, campfires, fire pits, charcoal grills, tiki torches, or fireworks are permitted.
- Small personal propane or butane camp stoves are allowed for cooking and heating water, but must be attended at all times and used responsibly.
- Outside food and beverages are permitted in the campground only and may not be brought into the main festival grounds.
- Quiet hours begin at 2:00 AM. Please be respectful of fellow campers who may be sleeping.
- Keep your campsite tidy and pack out what you pack in.
- Please respect campground boundaries and festival staff instructions.
- Illegal substances, weapons, and disruptive behavior are not permitted.
- Generators are not permitted.
- No amplified sound systems in the campground.

No, RVs are not allowed onsite. There are RV camping options within about a 30-minute radius of the festival. For close-by RV camping options, search Galena Gulch Campground and Rivers Bend RV Park.

Yes. There will be food trucks, microbrews, non-alcoholic options, and water refill stations onsite.

Outside food and beverages are prohibited within the main festival area, but we have many great options.

Yes, Jefferson County Fairgrounds is ADA-accessible, with ADA restrooms, parking and performance viewing area. Note that the exception is the Frequency Space, the second level of a barn on the property.
